| *REGAL PROCESSION -- (Juliette Matthis x Seminole Wind) Sev., 6” fl., 24” sc., M. 20 - 25 buds. When I made this cross, I was expecting a pink flower, not this magnificent beauty. The flowers are a very large royal purple with a large lighter watermark and green throat. The ruffled petals carry a bubbly gold edge. What makes this flower so important is its size and extra-ordinary substance. Bill and I used to joke that it reminded me of a Munson purple on steroids. One of my most important breaks, and a plant highly recommended to hybridizers. Plants perform well from Florida to Canada. |
