Some of my most saturated purple flowers have come from combining the best of my lines with the best of Jeff Salter’s purples. Journey To Ixtland is a very saturated deep purple with a lighter watermark. Of course, John Peat added the bubbly gold edge, which forms a nice contrast to the deep color. At the center of the flower is a deep green throat. The clarity of color, richness of hue and saturation set this flower apart. |
