| *POPCORN PETE -- (Arabian Magic x Ice Wine) (Clothed in Glory) Sev. 6” fl, 25” sc. M. 25 buds. We began calling this flower Popcorn Pete in the garden because of its unusual white popcorn edge, and the name stuck. The flowers are a dark plum purple with a lighter watermark above a green throat. The petals are surrounded by a heavy bubbly gold edge which resembles an ornate sprinkling of white popcorn. The appearance of the edge varies during the course of the season, making Popcorn Pete a pleasure to grow in the garden. |
