The flowers of ‘Shadows of the Rainbow’ are a clear strawberry pink with a dark rose red eye and matching picotee. Surrounding the red picotee is a second, bubbly, serrated gold edge. The petal edges are heavily ruffled and crimped, and the gold sometimes appears to drip from the petal edges. The center of the flowers have a green heart. These flowers are a wonderful combination of the fine qualities of both parents. They are not only beautiful flowers but are also an important step in red eyed, edged flowers with heavy gold edging. |
