The blooms of Susie Tee have a blue violet eye and matching picotee. The eye also has a wire mascara edge to the eye that continues as an inner band in the petal edges. The petal edges are ruffled, with a wire gold edge. Named in honor of a dear friend, and fabulous daylily lover, Susie Thompson. This flower combines the best of Elizabeth Salter’s and my lines, pushing the envelope in blue violet tetraploids. |
