Hypnotized
(Barracuda Bay x Tet. Open Hearth) Sev. 8” fl. 28” sc. M 20 buds. The flowers of Hypnotized are a dark copper red with a dark black purple eye above a green throat. These are very large flowers, and in my garden, they are polytepal approximately 75% of the time. As a fertile tetraploid polytepal out of modern lines, these are important breeders. Being out of Barracuda Bay, the flowers often have white teeth as the season progresses.
