Shock Appeal
[(Mardi Gras Ball x Reyna) x (Violet Reflections x Bridey Greeson)] x (Jelly Maker). Sev. 6 - 6.5" fl. 24" sc. M 20 buds. These are large, beautifully formed, very heavy substanced flowers. They are particularly striking because of the strong contrast between the near white base and the dark eye and matching picotee. Rust resistance is average to good, and the plants are cold hardy. The flowers are fertile both ways, although they can be a reluctant pod parent. The form of the flower is striking, with extremely wide, overlapping petals, creating a very large, very round flower. On top of this, the flowers have very heavy substance, creating an overall effect of an imposing flower.
